Abstract: TRI PRASETYO NPM 15.821.0065, Research "Growth Response and Production of Red Okra Plants (Abelmoschus esculentus,L Moench) Towards Giving Tea Powder and Biochar Coconut Shell Waste Compost. Thesis under the guidance of Mrs. Dr. Sumihar Hutapea, MS, as the lead supervisor. and Mrs. Ellen L, Panggabean, MP, As supervisors.This study aimed to determine the growth and production response of red okra (Albelmoschus esculentus L. moench) to the giving of waste tea powder compost with coconut shell biochar. Randomized Groupwith 2 replications. factorial consisting of II treatment factors, Factor I : Treatment of tea powder waste compost. T0 : uncompressed tea powder waste, T1 : tea powder waste compost 5 ton/ha (500 g/m2), T2 : tea powder waste compost 10 ton/ha (1000 g/m2), T3 : tea powder waste compost 15 ton/ha (1500 g/m2), factor II treatment of coconut shell biochar. B0 : Without coconut shell biochar, T1 : biochar coconut shell 5 ton/ha (500 g/m2), B2 : biochar coconut shell 10 ton/ha (1000 g/m2), B3 : biochar coconut shell 15 ton/ha (1500 g/m2), the parameter observed in research : plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, number of branches, diameter of fruit, fruit length, number of fruits per sample plant, number of fruits per plot plant, fruit weight per sample plant, fruit weight per plot. The results of the study showed that giving tea powder waste compost significantly affect plant height, stem diameter and fruit weight per plot, but not significantly affected the number of leaves, number of branches, diameter of fruit, fruit length, number of fruits per sample, number of fruits per plot and fruit weight per sample. provision of coconut shell biochar significantly affect plant height, stem diameter and fruit weight per plot, but no significant effect on the number of leaves, number of branches, diameter of fruit, fruit length, number of fruits per sample, number of fruits per plot and fruit weight per sample. combination of tea powder waste compost by giving coconut shell biochar no significant effect to plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves, number of branches, fruit diameter, fruit length, number of fruits per sample, number of fruits per plot, fruit weight per sample and fruit weight per plot.

Moench) Terhadap Pemberian Kompos Limbah Bubuk Teh dan Biochar Tempurung Kelapa. Skripsi dibawah bimbingan Ibu Dr. Ir. Sumihar Hutapea, M.S, selaku ketua pembimbing dan Ibu Ir. Ellen L, Panggabean, MP, selaku anggota pembimbing. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman okra merah (Albelmoschus esculentus L. moench). terhadap pemberian kompos limbah bubuk teh dengan biochar tempurung kelapa. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 2 ulangan. Faktorial yang terdiri dari II faktor perlakuan, Faktor I perlakuan pemberian Kompos Limbah Bubuk Teh. T0 : tanpa kompos limbah bubuk teh, T1 : kompos limbah bubuk teh 5 ton/ha (500 g/m2), T2 : kompos limbah bubuk teh 10 ton/ha (1000g/m2), T3 : kompos limbah bubuk teh 15 ton/ha (1500 g/m2). Faktor II perlakuan pemberian Biochar Tempurung Kelapa. B0 : tanpa biochar tempurung kelapa, B1 : biochar tempurung kelapa 5 ton/ha (500 g/m2), B2 : biochar tempurung kelapa 10 ton/ha (1000 g/m2), B3 : biochar tempurung kelapa 15 ton/ha (1500 g/m2). Parameter yang diamati pada penelitian ini ; Tinggi Tanaman, Jumlah Daun, Diameter Batang, Jumlah Cabang, Diameter Buah, Panjang Buah, Jumlah Buah per Tanaman Sampel, Jumlah Buah per Plot, Bobot Buah per Tanaman Sampel, Bobot Buah per Plot. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pemberian kompos limbah bubuk teh berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, diameter batang dan bobot buah per plot, tetapi berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap jumlah daun, jumlah cabang, diameter buah, panjang buah, jumlah buah per sampel, jumlah buah per plot dan bobot buah per sampel. Pemberian biochar tempurung kelapa berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, diameter batang dan bobot buah per plot, tetapi berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap jumlah daun, jumlah cabang, diameter buah, panjang buah, jumlah buah per sampel, jumlah buah per plot dan bobot buah per sampel. Kombinasi antara pemberian kompos limbah bubuk teh dengan Pemberian biochar tempurung kelapa berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, jumlah daun, jumlah cabang, diameter buah, panjang buah, jumlah buah per sampel, jumlah buah per plot, bobot buah per sampel dan bobot buah per plot.
