Abstract: Thesis under the guidance by Mr. Ir. Erwin Pane, MS, as the supervisor and Mr. Ir. H. Gusmeizal, MP, as a supervisor. This research was conducted in the Field of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Medan Area, District Percut Sei Tuan with altitude of 22 m above sea level and flat topography and alluvial soil types. The research was conducted from April to September 2019. The purpose of this study was to obtain data on the ability of cabbage compost (Brassicaceae) and banana weevil liquid organic fertilizer on the growth and production of long bean plants (Vigna Sinensis L.). The method used in this study is a randomized block design (RBD) in factorial, with 2 (two) treatment factors, Namely: 1) Factors Cabbage Compost Fertilizer (K), which consists of 4 levels, namely: K0 = no treatment (control); K1 = 7.5 tons / ha (0.9 kg / plot) cabbage compost; K2 = 15 tons / ha (1.8 kg / plot) cabbage compost; K3 = 22.5 tons / ha (2.7 kg / plot) compost cabbage; 2) Faktors liquid organic fertilizer banana weevil (P) which consists of 4 levels, namely: P0 = no treatment (control); P1 = 25% is equivalent to 250 ml of POC plus 750 ml of water; P2 = 50% is equivalent to 500 ml of POC plus 500 ml of water; P3 = 75% is equivalent to 750 ml of POC plus 250 ml of water, each treatment was repeated two (2) times so that there are 32 experimental plots. Each experimental plot consisted of 9 plants with 4 plant samples. The parameters were observed in this study consisted of stem diameter, number of pods per sample plant, pod length per sample plant, pod weight per sample plant, production per plot; From the research has been carried out can be concluded as follows: 1) Provision of POC banana weevil has no real effect on stem diameter, number of pods per sample plant, pod length per sample plant, pod weight per sample plant, production per plot; 2) The administration of cabbage compost has a significant effect on stem diameter, number of pods per sample plant and production per plot, but has no real effect on pod length per sample plant and pod weight per sample plant; 3) The combination of the two treatment factors has no real effect on stem diameter, number of pods per sample plant, pod length per sample plant, pod weight per sample plant, production per plot
Description: Skripsi di bawah bimbingan oleh Bapak Ir. Erwin Pane, MS, selaku ketua pembimbing dan Bapak Ir. H. Gusmeizal, MP, selaku anggota pembimbing. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Lahan Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Medan Area, Jalan Kolam No. 1 Medan Estate, Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan dengan ketinggian tempat 22 meter diatas permukaan laut, topografi datar dan jenis tanah alluvial. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan mulai dari bulan Mei sampai dengan Juli 2019. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan data tentang kemampuan pupuk kompos kubis-kubisan (Brassicaceae) dan pupuk organik cair bonggol pisang terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman kacang panjang (Vigna Sinensis L.). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) secara faktorial, dengan 2 (dua) faktor perlakuan, yakni : 1) Faktor Pemberian Pupuk Kompos Kubis-Kubisan (K) yang terdiri dari 4 taraf, yaitu : K0 = Tanpa perlakuan (kontrol); K1 = 7,5 ton/ha (0,9 kg/plot) kompos kubis-kubisan; K2 = 15 ton/ha (1,8 kg/plot) kompos kubis-kubisan; K3 =22,5 ton/ha (2,7 kg/plot) kompos kubis-kubisan; 2) Faktor Pemberian Pupuk Organik Cair Bonggol Pisang (P) yang terdiri dari 4 taraf, yaitu : P0 = Tanpa perlakuan (kontrol); P1 = 25% setara dengan 250 ml POC ditambah 750 ml air; P2 = 50% setara dengan 500 ml POC ditambah 500 ml air; P3 = 75% setara dengan 750 ml POC ditambah 250 ml air, masing-masing perlakuan diulang sebanyak 2 (dua) kali sehingga terdapat 32 plot percobaan. Setiap plot percobaan terdiri dari 9 tanaman dengan 4 tanaman sampel. Adapun parameter yang diamati dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari diameter batang, jumlah polong per tanaman sampel, panjang polong per tanaman sampel, bobot polong per tanaman sampel, produksi per plot. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut : 1) Pemberian POC bonggol pisang berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap diameter batang, jumlah polong per tanaman sampel, panjang polong per tanaman sampel, bobot polong per tanaman sampel, produksi per plot; 2) Pemberian kompos kubis-kubisan berpengaruh nyata terhadap diameter batang, jumlah polong per tanaman sampel dan produksi per plot, tetapi berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap panjang polong per tanaman sampel dan bobot polong per tanaman sampel; 3) Kombinasi kedua faktor perlakuan berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap diameter batang, jumlah polong per tanaman sampel, panjang polong per tanaman sampel, bobot polong per tanaman sampel, produksi per plot
