Abstract: This research was conducted in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Medan Area, Jl. Kolam No. 1, Medan Estate, Percut Sei Tuan Sub-District, with a height of 12 meters above sea level, and carried out from December 2017 to January 2018. The research method used was Non Factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD), with 7 levels of treatment factors, namely : P0 = Control (NPK fertilizer 16, 16, 16 with a dose of 200Kg/ha); P1 = Cow Manure dose 5 tons/ha (0,5 Kg/m2); P2 = Cow Manure dose 10 tons/ha (1 kg/m2); P3 = Cow Manure dose 15 tons/ha (1,5 Kg/m2); P4 = Cabbage Waste Compost dose 5 tons/ha (0,5 Kg/m2); P5 = Cabbage Waste Compost dose 10 tons/ha (1 Kg/m2); and P6 = Cabbage Waste Compost dose 15 tons/ha (1,5 Kg/m2). This research was repeated 4 times. Parameters observed in this study were plant height, number of levels gross weight of production a sample, gross weight of production a plot, net weight of production a sample, and net weight of production. The results obtained from this reseacrh are : 1) Giving Cow Manure and Cabbage Waste Compost significantly affect plant height, gross production/sample weight, production/plot gross weight, net production/sample weight and net production weight, but not real effect on the amount of pakcoy plant leaves, and 2) Giving of Cow Manure at a dose 1,0 Kg/m2 (P2) is the highest production dose for pakcoy plants.
Description: Penelitian ini dilakukan di kebun percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Medan Area, Jl. Kolam No 1 Medan Estate, Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan dengan ketinggian tempat 12 meter di atas permukaan laut, dilaksanakan Desember 2017 s/d Januari 2018.Metode penelitian Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Non Faktorial, dengan 7 taraf faktor perlakuan, yakni : P0=Kontrol (pemberian pupuk NPK 16, 16, 16 dengan dosis 200 kg/ha); P1 = Pupuk kandang sapi dosis 5 ton/ha (0,5 kg/m2); P2 = Pupuk kandang sapi dosis 10 ton/ha (1 kg/m2); P3 =Pupuk kandang sapi dosis 15 ton/ha (1,5 kg/m2); P4= Kompos limbah kubis dosis 5 ton/ha (0,5 kg/m2); P5= Kompos limbah kubisdosis 10 ton/ha (1 kg/m2); dan P6 = Kompos limbah kubisdosis 15 ton/ha (1,5 kg/m2). Penelitian diulang sebanyak 4 kali. Parameter yang diamati tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, bobot kotor produksi per sampel, bobot kotor produksi per plot, bobot bersih produksi per sampel dan bobot bersih produksi. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah : 1) Pemberian pupuk kandang sapi dan kompos limbah kubis berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, bobot kotor produksi/sampel, bobot kotor produksi/plot, bobot bersih produksi/sampel dan bobot bersih produksi, tetapi berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah daun tanaman pakcoy; dan 2) Pemberian pupuk kandang sapi dengan dosis 1,0 kg/m2 (P2) merupakan dosis untuk menghasilkan produksi tertinggi pada tanaman pakcoy.
